Open For Business
It’s an exciting day for me, as I officially launch The Marketing Concierge® website and start offering help to independent contractors and small to mid-size businesses nationwide. The idea for this business has been brewing for a while now, so it’s exciting to finally be opening the doors and hanging out my shingle for business.
I’ve spent the last three years working for a large company, supporting hundreds of independent contractors. In working with them day in and day out, it became very apparent to me that most business owners have a tendency to do everything themselves when it comes to operating their company. I think for many business owners it might feel like the smart thing to do or even the prudent thing to do. These business owners might even receive frequent praise for being able to manage it all.
The more I worked with these talented entrepreneurs, however, the more insight I was able to gather. Most apparent to me was the area of business operations that often weighed heaviest on them was marketing. It seemed that marketing was often considered a real burden. I heard time and again that they knew they needed to make marketing a priority, but just never seemed to have time for it.
I also picked up on the fact that marketing is really intimidating to business owners today — digital marketing, social media, blogs, contact management tools, email marketing, direct mail and so much more! Not to mention businesses today need to have a clearly defined target audience or none of these tools I just mentioned will be effective.
When I put all of my observations and experience together, I came to one significant conclusion — marketing often equates to stress for business owners! Marketing should never be stressful. In fact, many tools and systems today offer automation and analytics which has simplified things significantly. But, like anything, if it’s not a skill you are well equipped to take on, or perhaps just not your cup of tea then it will be painful, stressful, and dreadful.
Now you know my why. I am crazy passionate about marketing, so if I can do what I love, remove stress from someone else’s plate AND call it work, then I am in! That’s how The Marketing Concierge® began. A simple desire to help others who are in need. I’ve designed The Marketing Concierge® to help businesses navigate marketing. Whether it’s our trainings, free marketing tools, marketing service bundles or a la carte options, we have one mission: to help you save time, and money and stay ahead with marketing, There are no long term contracts, and everything is month-to-month.
